The Gaskell and Mambu rooms have access from the Ardwick Green Hall and are perfect breakout rooms when hosting a large event.

The Gaskell room is named after Elizabeth Gaskell, the Victorian novelist who wrote her most famous novels, including Cranford and Wives and Daughters, at her home in Ardwick.

Yomi Mambu is the inspiration for the Mambu room. Active in Labour Party politics, Yomi was one of the first black councillors elected to Manchester City Council, and served as Lord Mayor in 1989-90.
